If you ever have the issue of being disconnected on large tracks (like Nurburgring) it appears that the efnet guys found and confirmed the solution.
It seems to be a TCP timeout issue (too long of a gap between the sector times that are communicated to the server) that only affects some users. The solution is to send a silent chat to yourself every minute or so (there are ways to automate it) to keep the connection active. No one disconnected during a 5 lap race at Nordschliefe tonight.
