This IS the good laser scanned one, right? Not the version you are thinking of. We are using the new layout. Eastern Creek was revamped a couple years ago and there is actually a new section of the track, but we will be using the V8SC layout still. The biggest difference you will see is turn 6. It was changed to account for the entrance to the extended layout. It's basically now a 90 degree left hander whereas before it was a slight right then gradual left. This version appears to be very accurate to the current layout of Eastern Creek, now officially called Sydney Motorsports Park. The modder may have actually used the laser scanned version, then edited it to account for the changes, but I can't confirm this obviously. Shit, now I have to learn it. It shouldn't be too bad John. It's pretty much the same layout with the exception of that one corner. Maybe some different reference points compared to the other version too. |

for me its totally different to our 2012 layout lol I kept thinking it was that track we raced but ya it had to be new layout lol

Haha, probably won't be able to make it unfortunately :-(
It made it hard this year as last year our 2 youngest had "kindy play" and "pre kindy" onm a Thursday morning, this year they are both at home on a Thursday.... grrrrr
Next year, 2 will be at school full time and hopefully the youngest will have kindy on a Thursday which will again free me up to race.
Mind you, I am still hopeful of being able to do some racing over the next month or so with y'all

Well, I found some pace last night but damn this is a tricky track on inters. It's a struggle to keep the car from looping on exit of the hairpins.
