Closest finishes of the season right there! Race 1 it was a shame to see Zeke messed up his fuel, so with him gone, I focused on making my tires last and driving consistently rather than balls out. It worked, but barely, cuz Smokey clearly still had more tire than me at the end--one more lap and I think he might have got me! Race 2 was the best racing of the year in my opinion, Zeke and I nose-to-tail and side-by-side for the entire race, but he had the right setup call, going low downforce so he could pull away down the straights no matter what I did in the corners. Tried my damnedest to get the lead on the opening lap, we went side-by-side through the entire first sector, beating and banging, and he just eaked it out down the hill. Great stuff though.
I'm damn good on street courses so I'm hoping I can pull ahead of him in points there, because I have a feeling he'll kick my ass at Bathurst. Gonna be close again!
