Had a great race with some very clean battles. Started 23rd and ended up finishing 7th. Very cool.

Thanks, Craig.
It was a GT3 challenge race at Interlagos. I had 0 incidents at the end of the race and was awarded .62 towards my iRating. I was stunned but it's very exciting. There aren't even any races in the A license class for Road Racing that I want to participate in. I'm not ready for the F1 car. LOL

Congrats Snappy. I really enjoyed the license progression. Unfortunately for me it kinda fizzled out after that. Glad you're enjoying it.

Snappy, now that you have the blue stripe, you can focus on finding the car or cars that you enjoyed driving and really getting a handle on them. My car of choice is the Cadillac. Every time I drive it I enjoy it, even if we are doing a crappy track. I am confident you will find a car that similarly works for you.

Great job Snappy. Just as Craig said, getting an A license doesn't mean you have to race the A races. I have never raced an A race and have had my A license in road and oval for over a year. What it does is allow you to race in any series on the service. I still do an occasional Mazda Cup race because I like the car. Just find the car you like and race it. Make sure you do at least 8 different weeks in a season so you can get the participation credits.

Thanks guys!
I am going to start on my Oval License now. I didn't think I would ever go after the oval license but I watched the Firestone 600 at TMS this weekend and got totally into it. Especially since now the DW12 is in a iRacing and some other games it has caught my interest.
Any tips/advice?
Also, I will be painting all ny cars with a GBR theme so as to rep this club. I usually run season events in iRacing. I'll try not to embarrass us when I'm out there. I'll post pics of what I come up with as I sort things out. Better yet, I'll post videos instead.

Decide what kind of oval you want to run and work towards that. Ovals are awesome. Glad you are interested in them. Sent from my Nexus 5 using proboards
