A huge thank you to Jason for the setup (especially steering settings) I can actually drive these again. All 3 steering settings working together finally, really pumped for race one now!  |

Great race tonight guys.
Sorry for the bump Kurt, I should have said something, but I had so much speed on you out of T1 I new I could make it, and that was all I could focus on. Till I noticed you had the same line in mind. You can thank Chris for that, I got used to running side by side in that chicane with him. Those were some wild races...
All in all, I'm glad we made the switch, I can drive this car, where as with the ORSM cars, I was always worried about what I did, with this one, it seems more predictable. It can still bite you in the ass.... But at least I feel like I'm driving, and not along for the ride.

Good racing tonight. I did a lot better than I thought I would. Crap few days at work and no good practice until last night. However, it all came together in the race. My tire management was good, I stayed out of trouble mostly other than a incident where I outbraked myself following Tony and lost 7 seconds getting back on track. That's one huge difference between rF2 and rF1. In rF2/FVR, if you get in the grass you just gotta ride it out and carefully drive back to the track. In rF1/ORSM, I could basically power through the grass like a snowmobile. Results were good and I got fast lap in R1. I'll take it. I hope my g/f isn't mad at me when I wake up in the middle of the night having Vodafone nightmares... in both races my tire management strategy was mostly nullified by those meddling cars... I mean, great battles with Rich and Tony. Congrats to the winners and well done to the lapped traffic, there were no problems that I could see. Also FYI to those that were expecting a pit speed penalty... I secretly turned off all track rules for this race because there is a spot after the Keyhole that will DQ you if you spin into the infield. For the next race, rules will be back. |

Awesome fun racing guys, I have a lot to learn about rF2 and this V8 series but I am loving every second of it. Thanks for a really fun night of racing and well done to those being lapped.
Again sorry to Jeff about my sloppy overtake down at turn 6, I got in too deep trying not to lock up or hit anyone but locked up as I clipped the Apex the bumped into you there, my bad.
Dale, that was a great strategic and hard racing chess match that as always was a real rush. Looking forward to more close racing with you all, cheers.
