Bedford, MA (September 11, 2014) – iRacing.com Motorsport Simulations, the world’s most realistic racing game, today announced the addition of four Aston Martin Racing cars to the iRacing.com lineup. iRacing.com will create a virtual version of the Aston Martin Vantage GT3 that will compete next weekend in the iRacing.com Nürburgring 1000 Blancpain Sprint Series event, as well as other Aston Martin Racing cars including the Le Mans class-winning DBR9.

Nice! - they are definitely doing a good job bringing in the GT cars. I want to renew but have plenty of racing to do already so it would sit idle. As soon as they offer me a 50% subscription I will do it again.
With so many free nights at the moment, I wonder if GBR members would support a hosted series during the week. I much prefer league racing to their open races.

Very excited for this edition! They've really picked up there licensing, hopefully they can land an audi license and bring the r8 to the gt3 class. I lucked out again and recieved a 50% 1 yr membership last month and took advantage of it. I guess my continual bitching on fb about cost has paid off cause I've recieved 3 discounts in the past yr lol I wish they would do an annual content sale or bundle deal once a yr to help members as there prices are ridiculous. It took me a while, but I can justify the cost now.....Quality licensed content, game runs smooth as butter on max settings, great career tracking and best online system available not much more I can ask other than to allow me access to my content when my subscription runs out As for another series Iam there if you run it thurs-sat nights after 8 pm Mt!

If you do the $100 of credits deal for $75 and then use that to get quantity discounts with 3 or more items purchased, the price is a bit better. I'm 100% road content so I get automatic discounts on all purchases, I think.

I get the 25% loyalty discount now as I have all the road tracks and nearly all the cars but it would be nice to see a sale non the less to help out new comers

I just picked one up in the last month even though I already have every track and car in the game. It is just to make sure I always have money in my iRacing account whenever new content becomes available. I also only renew my subscription when it is half off. It usually is offered every year around father's day and black Friday. So far, I have spent $165 on 4 years of subscription costs. I got my initial 2 years for $90 and then another 2 years when it was half off for $100, but I had just purchased the $100 for $75 so that was really only $75. And during that time, all I will have to do is race at least 16 official races per season to get the $10 season credits, plus I will always get the $5 yearly credit so in 4 years I can earn $180 which will mean my total subscription cost for those 4 years will end up being -$15. That is a great deal no matter who you are. Now I will admit the startup cost was quite a bit since I bought everything within 2 months of joining, but now the upkeep is next to nothing. Since I get credits at 25% off and then use those credits to buy content at 30% off, I'm getting everything that comes out for almost half off.

I always renew when it goes on sale for 100.00 you get 2 years. The last 2 years they only give me 1 year instead of 2. So I call them and tell them they screwed up on the renewal. So they give me 100.00 worth of credits Instead of 2 year. They have done this to me for last 2 years. So the way I figured it ,for 100.00 I get 1 year and 100.00 dollars worth of content. So thats like getting an extra 50.00 dollars every year.

I am interested in anything hosted. I want to run races in GBR series but I can only run Sunday through Wednesday after 11pm EST (8pm Pacific). I'll run anything even though I'm sticking to the MX-5 in official races until I can get consistent. A GT3 series or V8 SC series sounds great.
Man, do I ever struggle with the V8SCs.

Yeah, the V8s take some adjusting to for sure. I think I'm going to focus on them for iRacing. Ran with the V8sonline Americas guysgals Thursday & Friday. I'm certainly a backmarker right now.

If you search the iracing forums under v8 there's a development league for newcomers and the post a base tune which makes the car extremely stable and easier to drive. I've tried it and it's much more enjoyable than the base tune
