Anyone interested? I'd like to run some GT3 team events.

I can't watch the video now but I am interested on getting back into iRacing and enjoyed the one time I did a driver swap in rF1. What days and times are you thinking of running? Car?

I would definitely be interested Dave. I don't know about this week for the 24 hours of fun races, but I would like to run some races during the season. I'm available any week night. I usually go to bed around 11:00 Eastern time, but I can stay up later if necessary.

Monday night any time after the kids go to bed, usually 8:00 pm EST OR Tuesday and Wednesdays after 11pm EST. I haven't looked at the GT3 official team schedule yet but I'll check it out tonight when I get home. I am going to be running a lot of the "24 hours of fun" practice sessions to get he hang of it and work on my pace. I'll create a team for those practice sessions and send out team invites. That way, whoever is interested can join in.
What car should I register? I have 3 of the 4 cars but I can purchase the Ford GT if guys want to run that car.

The Ford GT is going to be my GT3 car of choice now. But don't do anything on the account of me. I just signed up for a league that runs every other Monday evening (CTS-VR)...so I don't know how my timing will pan out.

I was planning on getting the Ford GT anyway so it's no big deal. I love GT3 cars.

I have no problem running the Ford GT. The setup will take some work though. There are already a couple of guys working on it and comparing notes on the iRacing forums. I will keep an eye out there and get setups when I can. I am not really a setup person. I can make some slight changes to suit my driving style, but I need a good setup to start with. The baseline setup just feels weird. I don't know how to explain it, but it doesn't feel right. Other people are saying the same thing.
One good thing about team races is that they won't affect iRating, so we can just go in and have fun and keep it clean because SR will still be affected.

Dave, or anyone else, I am back on iRacing and interested in trying the team racing bit. I am thinking of picking up the BMW or RUF next week. Let me know if anyone wants to try a team race and which day/time would work.

Although you guys will see me on iR more and more, I have a pretty full schedule as I'm committing to the V8SC season and if I'm running anything else it's going to be iR/SR boosting in lower classes to undo the V8 damage.

I wish I had more time to run some races with you guys. One of these days I'll be able to drop in (and probably embarrass myself in the process, but oh well).
