As many of you know, my primary sim racing interest these days on the PC is iRacing oval racing. Most of my interest in road racing is now on the consoles, both Forza 5 and Forza Horizon 2 for Xbox One and GT6 for PS3. But there is one road car in the PC sims that I simply love and that is the Cadillac CTS in iRacing. I have been running this car since it was introduced a couple of years ago and have completed every single series since then, including every Cadillac Cup and now every Global Challenge. I know most of you around here are V8 Supercar fans, particularly in rFactor 1 and 2, and I now better understand your feelings towards that car, by virtue of my experience with the Caddy. Anyway, the top 25 list for the first three seasons of the Global Challenge fixed series in 2014 was just released and I was honored to be #18 out of 25, with over 6700 participants in the series. Here is the list:

1. Michael Engelage (US) - 3787 points

4. Maik Rogin (DE) - 3242 points
5. David Weiss (US) - 3032 points
6. Agustin Oya (ES) - 2923 points
7. Million Roux Alexandre (FR) - 2596 points
8. Shawn Noble (AU) - 2569 points
9. Bart Martinovic (AU) - 2303 points
10. Daniel Bailo (AU) - 2286 points
11. AJ Clark (CA) - 2257 points
12. John M King (MY) - 2093 points
13. Natalino Ban (SI) - 2072 points

16. Raul Alvarez (ES) - 1980 points
17. Michael Vaughn (US) - 1903 points
18. Craig J Capon (US) - 1897 points
19. Steven Parker2 (AU) - 1892 points
20. Lyle Kellermeier (AU) - 1864 points

22. John Irby (US) - 1798 points
23. Renato Alves Ferreira (BR) - 1760 points
24. Shane Zadow (AU) - 1726 points
25. Robby Morrison (US) - 1721 points
Participation: 6702 driver
I also finished 12th in Division 3 Season 3 of the iRacing Global Challenge fixed series. Very cool, particularly when you take into account that I do very little practice for these races. Indeed, because I have had less time to race over the last few months, I rarely qualified.
Anyway, just thought I would share the good news.
