rF2 Launcher won't "launch"

For some reason, the rF2 Launcher will not open any longer. I have uninstalled and re-installed a couple times, but still no luck. All of my other programs seem to be working ok.

When I try to start it, it creates a dmp file. I have no idea how to read it. Any techno savy folks here able to interpret this to maybe give me an idea of what's going on?

Run as Admin?

Uninstall any mods you've added since the last time it worked?

I did try to run as admin and did a fresh install with no 3rd party mods, but still no luck. I've run out of ideas. Worried it might be a registry issue. I tried a system restore as well.

Are you installing to C:/Program Files/ Or someplace else?

Program Files (x86) is where I've always installed them. Maybe I'll try installing it in a different directory to see what happens.

Tried installing in a couple different places, but still having the same issue.

I had this happen last week. Go to C drive/users file/your name/app data/roaming and delete .rfactor folder. You should now be able to start the launcher. You will have to log back in and go to purchase enter your account email and password and activate rfactor 2 . that should open up the single player. then login to online races. It worked for me.

But the question is what happened and why did it happen. I've never had that problem, but it's good to know how to fix it. Thanks for the info Greg.
