Minkler in a Porsche. How surprising! I'm preferring the server upgrade block for future events. I just need the quiet time to experiment with it. Hehe.
Cool, if you can manage that would be nice!

If it can be forced on the server side only, that would be ideal. However if this doesn't work, you would not need 2 separate installs. You would simply need the patch and the unpatch file. Literally would take 10 seconds to change it back and forth.

***Testing Purposes Only*** Here are the patches I created as self extracting files. Simply place BOTH exe files in the root directory of rFactor that you have the WES mod installed. If you want to remove the LeMans aero package, simply double click the "Standard_Aero_Patch.exe" file and a box will pop up. The files are referenced to the correct directories as long as you have it in the root. Click "yes to all" to patch and you are done. If you want to go back to the original version that has the LeMans aero packages, double click "LeMans_Aero_Patch.exe" and follow the same process as listed above. You can literally change it back and forth in seconds. DOWNLOAD STANDARD AERO PATCHDOWNLOAD LE MANS AERO PATCH

So are we going to use the standard aero package for Daytona?

So are we going to use the standard aero package for Daytona? Leave it as is for this race. We will be using the LeMans package for this event. You don't need to patch for the upcoming event. The patches I made are for testing purposes only. I would appreciate if a couple guys can test them to confirm everything works ok.

My aero upgrade defaults to default setup when ever I start up the mod. It wont let me install or bye it. I was wondering when I choose the upgrade ,the little star appears to the right. I just dont know if it still there when I go to race. When I back out of race and back to showroom ,my setup is back to default. Can some check this out. thanks. greg

I tested the patches that Jason posted above. It worked just fine and it takes less than 10 seconds. I plan to place those two files in the root of the mod install and create two shortcuts that will sit right next to the mod's shortcut on my desktop. It's a few clicks but IMO not a big deal and better than taking up a few GB with a separate installation.
By the way...even though I think this mod is top notch and I like what Simtek does, the URD mod for rF2 has essentially the same GT cars and, in my opinion, is better than this mod. I know some guys aren't on rF2 yet and URD charges $12 for their mod, but that would be a better mod for a series. Maybe season two?? he he
Oh, and I hear URD is working on the P-cars. I think Jason has mentioned that.

The patches work fine with my install. Can switch between the 2 in seconds.
My problem is I can't seem to get any speed out of my car. I'm way off the pace. More testing, more testing, more testing!

Yeah I have it installed. I'll have to play with the gearing I guess.
