Do you want to race the ultimate V8 Supercar Endurance race? You will get your chance later this year. iRacing just announced the Road Warrior series and this year it includes the Bathurst 1000. That's right, 161 laps at Mount Panorama in the V8 Supercar. Probably should start practicing now even though the race isn't until October 17th. I estimate the race will be over 6 hours with warmup and pit stops. No way, how the hell can you do a six hour race without going to the bathroom? I did a few four hour races last year and it almost killed me.

I see a few simulated 24 hr races running 2.4 hrs in length why would they make the bathhurst 1000 6 hrs ? If it was a 6 hr race why wouldn't they make it a team race? Better yet why aren't all these races team races?

I can do 4 hours easy. 6? Dunno. Might need to sprint down the hall during a pit stop. Seriously though, that's stupid considering the real drivers need co-drivers. Hopefully sanity prevails and they make it a team event. By the way, the event before Bathurst? Petit Le Mans. 1000 miles, 1600 km. That's over 10 hours. |

Cool that there doing it for those that take sim racing that serious.....If only I lived in my parents basement with nothing else going on in my life I might attempt a 4 hr race lol
