Hi guys, First off, Belated Happy New Year. I hope that everyone's Holidays were awesome and that everyone is doing well. I know I'm not around much but that's mostly because my schedule conflicts with just about everything. I am running a lot of iRacing. I currently am running select GT3 events, most of the Advanced MX-5 and a good deal of the Skip Barber events (working hard for those credits, lol). This Monday there is a team endurance event set up by the Race Free or Die league. It's the Roar before the 24. They are running a GS Class (Ford Mustang 500FRS) and an ST Class (MX-5). I want to run in the ST Class but I don't have a teammate. Anyone interested? It's very short notice, I know. I have a GBR livery for the MX-5 that I plan on running all season and it's not much trouble to add it in if I create a team. The bad part is that there is virtually no time to practice. Here is the link to the official post in the forums over at iRacing: members.iracing.com/jforum/posts/list/3293209.page Never run an endurance event before. It's a 2 hour and 30 minute race. Insane.

Sounds fun Snappy, I will race with you. Monday is my day off.
How does the livery work? Do we both need to have it, or only the team leader? Either way, if you give me the .tga file, I will put it on my car to make sure it is there for the race.
When will be a good time to get together for practice and work out our driving and pit strategy? I'm available most of the day tomorrow and all day Monday. Tonight I have a league race, so will be busy.

I am available all day tomorrow as well. Just let me know what works for you and I will tell the wifey. I am on the East Coast, BTW.
I will work on the livery this afternoon. I created a team once before and I believe just the team leader needs to save and export the livery. Once the other driver enters the lobby and that same livery is then visible. Now, about the set-up. I can't do a set up for the life of me and the one I have presently is....well, probably not good. I find that I like the MX-5 to be loose but it always seem to tighten up once the tires get hot. I know that is normal, but, I guess I don't adjust well to it. We can enter a regular practice lobby and I can share it. let me know.

I think I already have a good setup for Daytona. If not, I will get one. I have been running the Advanced series since it started and get setups from the fastest guys there.

I have been running the Advanced as well and i have been using a modified set up from Dries N but it was from Interlagos last season.

Hey guys, just wanted to pop in and let you all know that Troy and I finished fourth last night. It was a great time. Thanks for running with me Troy. Troy did the first stint - 1 hour 15 minutes. He ran totally incident free. I did the spotting for him. Hope I didn't talk too much, Troy. Lol He had us up in 3rd then turned it over to me. I managed to keep it together and we brought her home to finish fourth. I didn't get passed for position on track so it had to be a pit strategy thing that caused us to lose one spot. Considering we qualified fifth I think we did alright.

Had a great time racing with you last night Snappy. It was a good race. Neither one of us had any contact with any other cars, so we did our part to keep the race clean. There were some very fast drivers there who I recognized from the Advanced Mazda Cup series so I don't feel bad at all with our 4th place finish.
