This is from the Corvette forum posted by Tony Gardner: "Going to be looking for community-based Track Schedules early for next season if the community is so inclined. Please get to me by Monday May 4. Please include race distance as well. Please do not send me your own personal schedules, only interested in schedules in which there was community feedback. Send to Tony.Gardner@iRacing.com The hope is we will add the Aston Martin GT1 Car to this series to race in same class as Corvette for season 3. Thanks!" You can see the thread here: members.iracing.com/jforum/posts/list/3308949.page#8880224There is also a thread in the General Discussion forum here: members.iracing.com/jforum/posts/list/3308990.pageI have been wanting to race the Corvette, but there are very few races. I'm sure with the addition of the Aston Martin, the series will see a huge increase in participation. I can't wait. Here is iRacings latest picture of the car. It is still in production.

The Aston is fun. The new tire model is going to take a little getting used to. It's like there's a rubbery lag in the centre... hard to describe, it feels natural in a way.
Most importantly for me is that the CTS-VR now turns a hell of a lot better.

I got the Aston Martin and gave it a spin last night at Spa. It is a fun car to drive, a little bit more tame and easier to control than the Corvette for me. But I still like the Corvette better. I will probably run both cars in the GT1 series next season.

Probably going to run the Vette in a practice session tonight for the private league I run to see how the new tire model affected it. I've heard it's supposed to be a little less squirrely on the outlap...but haven't confirmed it yet.
But I loved the feel during the initial run in the Aston during the RKSS race last night.

The Vette is better on the outlap now mainly because they added tire warmers so your tires aren't so cold coming out of the pits.

I like the Aston, but not enough to do what is almost certainly going to be an ultra competitive GT1 series. I will stick with the Caddy on the road side.
