Fuel for this race will be normal. With fuel set to x2 you could only get 6 laps worth of fuel in the car. I changed it to normal and a full tank now holds 13 laps. I figured nobody wanted to stop 4 times for fuel in a race.

I don't see the server on the RF1 online list. Hi Scott, I just took a quick look and I can see it on my list. Try clicking on the green "refresh" button at the top-left of the listing of servers. I've noticed that this resets the list and seems to work if the GBR server is not listed at first.

I dunno if anyone else has this problem, but even though I've raced here a bit on AC, I keep finding myself 'lost' on the track in rF1. Here's a couple of Mark Weber videos on Silverstone:

Not sure what's up with the embedding of the first video, but here's a direct link in case you can't see it either...

Just a heads up about Pit Entry. Pit Entry is on the right before the last chicane that takes you towards the start/finish

Friday night I was trying to help Scott connect to the WES server and he kept getting a mismatch on AM_V8.hdv. I think that file has something to do with the Aston Martin V8 cars but I was not sure why he was getting that mismatch.
His skin was in the following directory C:\Program Files (x86)\rFactor WES\GameData\Vehicles\WorldEnduranceSeries\P2\Oreca_03\13ELMS_RothmansRacing on my computer and his computer, the skins were not on the rfactor server. In that folder there are 2 files. The 13041EL_Oreca_03.dds (his skin) and the 13041EL_Oreca_03.veh file I put the files on the rfactor server, restared the dedicated server program and he still got the mismatch. What we finally did to stop getting the mismatch was to rename the 13041EL_Oreca_03.dds file to Scott41.dds and I moved that file into the C:\Program Files (x86)\rFactor WES\GameData\Vehicles\WorldEnduranceSeries\P2\Oreca_03\13ELMS_Signatech Racing\skins folder with my skin and Joe's skin. I was able to see his skin and he was no longer getting the mismatch. I updated the skin pack with this and provided a new link in the downloads section and I will put the download at the beginning of this thread. If anybody could explain why this was happening that would be great. JImmy
Edited file name to SCOTT41.DDS

It's not Scott77.dds. It should be Scott41.dds. Other than that, Jimmy is right with everything else.

I just tried to get on the server again this morning and it took 10 refreshes to finally have it show up. Kinda strange, but I finally did get in.

You may have had two files with the same name before you changed it, that will cause that when using a .veh file that creates a new team, teams can't have the same file names. Always go with just a skin in the skins folder of your chosen car unless told otherwise, and always use a custom name for the skin.
As for finding the server, bookmark it once found and it should not be a problem the next time. Unless it dose not save, that happens every once in a while. Bookmarks are found under the friends list after they are created.

A little more info on what Dan said:
To bookmark an rFactor multiplayer server: In order to avoid searching through the server list each time you want to join a server you frequent, you can bookmark multiplayer servers. This also means you can connect to a familiar server when rFactor's matchmaker service is down without knowing the server's IP address.
Join the server as normal. Click on the computer icon between the vote buttons at the bottom of the chat window. Click the "Bookmark" button; this adds the server to your mulitplayer 'friends' list.
To join a bookmarked rFactor multiplayer server:
Click on the "Connect" button in the main GUI, then on "Join Race". Click on the FRIENDS LIST tab next to the SERVER LIST tab. Click on the server name in the BOOKMARKS pane to highlight it. Click the server name again; the LOAD GAME button on the bottom right should light up if the server is active. Click the "LOAD GAME" button to connect to the server. Enter the password if necessary.
I never knew this existed until today.

I figured out what was wrong with Scott's original Team folder, it was in another teams directory, it should have been placed next to the other teams. But Skins are easier to manage, so the way you went is better. Sorry, don't mean to be harping on this subject so much, but when it comes to skins and stuff, I want to know why something works or doesn't. Kinda like a dog with a bone..
