Road Warrior Endurance - Petit Lemans - Oct 10th

Post up if you're interested, also note if you have any interest in assisting as a race engineer (not a requirement, you can just drive too if that's all that interests you). 394 laps (approx 10 hours).

The plan is for 3-4 drivers per car (rough calc of 8.3 stints assuming 1:10 run time per tank). This thread will be used for planning and discussion for the event. I'm anticipating a 2 car entry...possibly 3 if we get some noobs .

All GBR members are welcome regardless of iRating (most of us that run these endurance events are under 1500 ). Multi-class experience is highly recommended (IMSA official series races & practice is a good training tool). We will be running the Ford GT GT3, the same car we've been running all season (except Daytona which we didn't take part in). Utilizing the same car for all team entries allows us to share sets and help the team as a whole. Preference will be granted to those that have already been running the endurance events with us, however my goal is to try to get everyone interested involved if possible. I may reach out to the AMG (iRacing) & Efnet leagues if we need a driver or 2 to fill the roster, rather than cut interested GBR drivers.

I will create new spreadsheets for this race, those that ran the 24 hour Spa event will know what I'm talking about.

I am definitely interested. No other plans that I know of now. I will tell the wife not to make any.

Can you explain what you mean by Race Engineer? If that involves spotting and crew chief duties, count me in for that as well.

That and one step further. As I will only be able to work the strategy (as it will likely change during the race pending various situations & circumstances) and stint/fuel calcs for the car that I'm running, basically looking for others that are interested to doing the same stuff for the other car/s (if needed). If we only have 1 car, it's not a problem. But if we wind up with 2, which I'm expecting, we'll need someone to handle the reigns of the other car.

Car seats arbitrarily filled. Did we want to run a car in a low split and one higher up? Or did we want to try to get both cars into the same split. Sheldon & I have pretty close iR, so if we were both the ones to enter the cars there is a chance of getting them into the same split. It would likely be a low one (typically 1 or 2 up from the bottom), of which I'm fine with. So I guess this is more directed at Troy & Boza, being they are the faster guys here (iR wise anyways). Or Troy & Boza would be the other option, as they are close as well.

I think most people are an admin on the teams but there's a limit (6?). Make sure your lead-off driver is an admin otherwise they can't initiate the race session as a team member.

We should try to be in the same split. I don't mind being in the lower split.
