Ok, so lets plan on meeting up in TS around 7:30PDT (10:30EDT) on Friday night and find one of the RW practice rooms. I imagine we'll need less than 30min to refresh ourselves with the driver swap process. We'll want to make sure that the drivers in the relative cars are practicing with the same tune leading up to it though...just so we can avoid last minute scramble on setup adjustments. I'm likely going to stick with the tune I posted up there, so Boza, Ink, let me know if we need to make adjustments for stability/comfort. And Ink, give a shout if you need anything or have any questions. I know you probably feel a little bit like an outsider here as you're new...but don't worry, we'll break you of that! Almost everyone here came over from 2o4f, so the general mentality is all the same. And we are running this for fun. No super competitive vibes here.

Oh Troy, I just copied everything I'm using for the planning of GBR1 for GBR2 as well. Feel free to use as little or as much as you feel necessary.

Speaking of tunes, Troy, Sheldon, which are we running with? I need to start practicing tonight since I am away until Friday. I hope to practice some Friday morning.

I'm having a hard time with the tune I'm lucky if I get 1:23's . 1:24's for me .feels loose to me , I like it to be grippy.

Where does it feel loose? On throttle, off throttle? Turn in, corner exit? High speed corners, slow speed? Or just in a particular part of the track? Just trying to get an idea where to tweak.

I can adapt to most tunes with in-car adjustments. You have brake bias, traction control, and I think ABS with the GT3 cars.
The brake bias will help you on corner entry. Increase it if the car is too loose, decrease it if the car is too tight.
Traction control can help on corner exit. Increase it if the car is loose, decrease if the car is tight.
ABS just helps if you are locking up the brakes too much.

Smooth is fast with this car. Make sure you aren't over-driving into the corner. Think easy in, fast out. You should be able to play w/ the yaw of the car mid corner by manipulating the throttle. I remember Dave mentioning that he found himself running too hard & deep into the corner when he was comparing data from his laps to mine & Dale's laps. If you are running in too hard & giving it too much steering angle you can have a push going into the corner, then have it snap into oversteer (loose) when the front finally grips.
If it's pushing on throttle mid corner, you're probably feeding it too much throttle too soon. You can start squeezing back on the throttle once you start unwinding the steering wheel. Realistically you won't be at full throttle until the car is pointed straight.

I tried out the setup and it is fine for me. I just had to increase the brake bias a few clicks. I was running consistent 1:22s with a best of 1:22.1xx.

Ink, I'm off all day tomorrow if you want to get together at some point and run some laps. If you're loose into T1 (probably the trickiest corner in this car), I moved the brake bias I think 3 clicks to the front (48%) and am using very light trail braking (starting at the end of the wall on the left) while dropping down to 4th gear as I approach the curbing at the apex.
Also, if you are running auto-clutch or auto-blip for this car...turn them off. The GT3 cars do that automatically. If the assists are turned on, it actually slows the shift times and unsettles the car while changing gears.

I will be home tonight at around 10:45pm EDT. I will probably be online by 11:00. I will be willing to practice with and/or help anyone who is around at that time. Just make sure if you practice tonight, that you get on TS3 so we can all work together.
