Hey guys, I got this for Xbox One and am ready for some online football action. Has anyone else gotten it yet, or does anyone plan to get it? Seahawks?

I haven't bought the game yet officially but have it downloaded and I have EA access so I get 10 hours to try it. I know I'll end up buying it to keep my streak of owning every Madden alive. Just need to decide if I buy the disk or just buy it digitally.
We need a rematch for sure Craig. I think we missed playing last year.

We did not play last year, in part because the Raiders squad was horrible. Derek Carr's in game stats were wildly too low compared to his on field performance last year and I had no decent WRs or RBs. This year, however, Carr's in-game stats are more accurate, plus I have Latavius Murray and Amare Cooper. I actually should be fairly competitive against your squad, particularly now that your offensive line is mediocre at best.
I am using a good headset with my Xbox One and have Kinect as my mic. The game is downloaded and installed and so I am ready to go when you are.

I got in some time last night with the Xbox One version of Madden 16. I love the opening cinematic. I won't give details so that I don't spoil it, but it was a good fun and was a nice way to start the game. I then loaded and started an online franchise. The process seemed much easier and I loved that it skipped to the regular season. The controls seem more responsive, and I love the new sideline animations. I play as the Oakland Raiders and the in-game stats seemed comparable to real life, with one exception. The game had my starting RB as Roy Helu Jr. over Lativius Murray. What? Since when are those two guys comparable? In game they both have an overall rating of 74. That is ridiculous. Anyway, the game is good fun. I cannot wait to try out some of the Ultimate Team NFL moments, where you can play scenarios from past real life NFL games. And yes, I do plan to run Marshawn Lynch up the middle to win Super Bowl 49 for the Seahawks!

I've played a couple games of Madden 16 and so far and the look and feel is not much different than last seasons game. The running game does seem a bit tougher (likely due to my mediocre offensive line this season), but the animations look better. There is still some weird movements from players at times, but I can tell EA tried to fine tune it. I do like the on screen stats that pop up and I really like how it shows how many times the top receiver has been targeted. While the new Madden is a must for us hardcore football fans, I don't think there is enough new stuff in this years version to justify buying it if you aren't really into the game and want up-to-date rosters. Obviously for Craig and I, we must have the updated rosters. We'll have to sort out a time and date for our rematch Craig.
