Boza and myself are racing the IndyCar Winter Series. I will be sharing setups in this thread for anyone else who would like to race. If you have any questions about the setups and how to adjust them to your driving style, let me know. I don't know a lot yet, but I know enough to adjust the car if it is too loose or tight. Here are my setups for this week at Watkins Glen. There are still a couple more races today and 6 more this weekend. 15S4 Watkins Boot R.sto (3.29 KB) 15S4 Watkins Boot Q.sto (3.29 KB)

I've started working on my setups for next week at Michigan. This is what I have so far. For the race setup, start with WJ at +2 and go up from there as it gets tight out of turn 2. Also adjust the ARBs through the run. Lower the front ARB and raise the rear ARB as you go through the run. 15S4 Michigan R.sto (3.04 KB) For the qual setup, set the WJ at +4 and leave it there for the run. 15S4 Michigan Q.sto (3.04 KB)

I jus got a look at the schedule thats Kick ass I'm gonna add that to my list. It is a great series kind of like the NIS series. The races are longer and require a pit stop. And they only have 12 races each week. So far all the races have had at least 3 splits and there can be up to 33 cars per split. You can find some decent road setups on the forums, but oval setups are harder to find. I have learned a little about making oval setups and I will share my setups every week. You need at least a road C license. All the races are on the road license because iRacing can only have one license for a series and they picked road for this one.

Thanks for the sets Troy!! This week should be interesting cause I've never raced at Michigan. Hopefully I'll be in the top split so I can draft you all race:)

Thanks for the sets Troy!! This week should be interesting cause I've never raced at Michigan. Hopefully I'll be in the top split so I can draft you all race:) No problem on the setups. They won't be fast enough to win races, but they can stay in the draft with the faster drivers out there. Make sure you have the Weight Jacker increase and decrease functions set on your wheel where it is very easy to adjust. I use the right side joystick on my wheel. I move it right for WJ increase and left for WJ decrease. You will need to use the WJ a lot in these races. You will have to increase it at the start of a fuel run as the car gets tight, then decrease it as you get near the end of your fuel because the car starts to get loose. You will also have to adjust it based on traffic. If you are following someone within .7 seconds, you will have to increase it to get through the corners. If you get to clean air, back it off again. It is also a good idea to have the ARBs mapped to something. They are not as important and it will be ok if you can adjust them in whatever F screen is for in-car adjustments. I only go up 1 on the rear ARB and down 1 on the front ARB throughout a fuel run. Make sure you reset them when you pit for fuel and tires. A full tank of fuel can run 37-38 laps depending on drafting. You will want to pit at every caution for fuel and tires at the beginning of the race. Lap 58 will be the last lap that will be completely safe to pit for fuel and make it to the end. As you get near the end of the race, you will want to burn fuel during cautions. The way to burn fuel is to drag your brake in first gear and push down on the throttle a little harder. It takes practice to do this without locking the front tires. Have a calculator handy and figure out how much fuel you will need to finish the race after the caution. The car burns about .49 gal/lap at full throttle. I use .5 in my calculations to make it simple. Just take the number of laps and divide it by 2 and that is how much fuel you will need. The car will be faster the less fuel it has. If you do pit in the last 37 laps, only take enough fuel to finish the race or don't take any fuel if you already have enough. I plan to race Thursday night at 11:00pm EDT for sure and possibly Friday at 10:00pm EDT. I will also get some more races on the weekend. I really want to race Sunday at 11:00am EDT because that is the SimPit championship race.

Thanks for the tips and I do have my WJ and ARB mapped. I also use iAnalyzer which has voice prompts which is pretty cool.

I have been running some practice and have some setups for Sebring. My best time with race fuel is 1:44.4xx and with qual fuel 1:43.9xx. 15S4 Sebring R.sto (3.04 KB) 15S4 Sebring Q.sto (3.04 KB)
