I hope we get a decent turn out for the final race at The Glen. One question about pit entry, do we use the full length of the pit in lane which begins before the final turn? Either way we will have to call our pit ins or there will be some carnage for sure, exiting the pits should not be an issue imo.

Doing a Helios again... no practice, no tuning, haven't checked if the track loads but I'll be there. Luckily I know this track very, very well  |

Not my favorite track...but at least it's the GP layout and not NASCAR. I'll be there w/ my usual prep. |

Sooo freeway is shut down due to a rolled over semi. I'll get home as soon as I can, but if I'm not there.....that's why.

I should make it. Not sure I'll finish the whole thing as my shoulder still gets sore from shifting after a normal race. So we'll see if I can do the enduro.

Sorry guys I got some devastating news moments before the race and was in no condition to race. Nobody died though so don't worry. I hope your all having a blast. I should have posted this sooner but my brain was somewhere else.......

Ya, I hope things are OK, Tony.
Bad, bad race for me. That was a shame because, like the last race I felt confident of a podium.
1) Got too far out on Outer Loop trying to go two-wide with Chris and took a trip across the grass and knocked my nose off. Into the pits.
2) Accidentally hit the "Next car" button and drove off track. It took about 30 seconds to find my cockpit again. I had jumped into a car in the garage and assumed it was me and I had been removed from the track. Nope, my wounded car was actually in the T1 runoff. Once in the car, I had a flat and damage. Into the pits for over a minute of repairs.
By the time of the second stop I decided to switch to medium tires, full fuel and full boost. Unfortunately, the non-reparable aero damage was costing me about 10 km/h on the straight and that negated the change in strategy.
The lesson learned here? I immediately went in and deleted the KB shortcuts for the car selection. That also reminded me to mention that drivers should also remove the Free Camera shortcut (default is U). That one sucks to accidentally hit when you're typing a chat message because it makes your look direction change if you bump the mouse.
