Thanks for understanding guys and for the kind words. Just another one of life's setbacks over a misunderstanding so it was a pretty bitter pill to swallow. I will survive, took a couple days off work to make a 5 day weekend for myself. Much better today after a brutal Thursday and recovering from a head cold and cough to boot.
Anyway, sorry I missed the fun on track with you all. I had a stellar season and was just so hooked up with this car / mod combo and of course the competition always pushed me to push myself to the max as well. Such a shame our great racer Angelo was not in the championship, I think we all missed him this season.
Congrats to the podium finishers at the Glen and to all that stuck with this great series. Thanks to the the hosts and the GBR servers as well, what a great season it was with awesome track selection too.
That is my first championship in any online racing so that is pretty cool to get that monkey off my back, I was runner up a few times over the years.
I will keep an eye out for the next challenge. Hopefully GBR will lure me into another great championship challenge with something I love. GSCE pehaps? I am glad to see Jeff picked this game up as well, simply awesome and loving the V8's in it. The physics / tire models are top notch imo with all the cars in this game.
