AC still leaves a bitter aftertaste. I feel exactly the same way about AC. In my opinion it's a "simcade". Not really for the serious racer. I do have to say GSC is worth every penny. It's a great sim. |

Oh yeah, I'm in. Finally got GSC updated after switching to steam version. Have not played this game in months though.

Does anyone know why I can't launch this after updating? With my install files from earlier in the year, the game works fine. When I do a sync and get the latest content, the game won't launch past a black screen.

After emailing tech support they convinced me to go with the steam version, Im all good now  |

Dale, try to update manually. At Race Department you can find all files needed for that. Sometimes with big updates the Sync can get confused! Here is the thread: www.racedepartment.com/threads/stock-car-extreme-v1-38-released.110509/About the server, the series choosed is the wrong one after the Live View was installed. Right now we have the Stock Car V8 there, which is the brazilian V8. The correct one is the Super V8. |

So which cars are we going to run? The Super V8's or the Stock Car V8? I see live timing says Stock Car V8, but earlier today it said Super V8?  The first post says Super V8's, so that's what I'm going to keep practicing driving. |

It'll be the V8 Supercar one. The wrong one was probably inadvertently loaded. I'm sure he'll have it fixed when he is able to get to it. Thanks for the heads up!

Thank you! That got me going in the right direction. My coreshaders.mas was wrong somehow. I copied a good one in and all was fixed. |

We will be running the "Super V8's", which is the V8 Supercars. It was loaded last night, but must have switched over to Stock Car V8's somehow. We'll get that corrected shortly. Be patient while we get things sorted out with a sim we haven't used before.
