And we can use all the help we can get. Really appreciate the insight into this sim.
If you guys have fellow sim racers or friends that want to join and you think they will mesh well with our current crowd, just give me a heads up. We are accepting new members, but we also don't want to lose sight of our core values at GBR, which is to HAVE FUN and not take ourselves too seriously.

Also, I don't see kurupt on our member list anymore. He may have deleted his account or I may have when cleaning up membership awhile back. Obviously Dave is more than welcome to join anytime. He's a good dude.

I'm having issues as well. When I join the server, it will load the track. Once I get into the lobby, it immediately shuts my entire PC down. Basically it's like hitting the reset switch on my computer and it boots back up. It did this to me a few days ago and I thought it might just be a fluke, but it's done it twice in a row on me tonight.

Thats odd. I´ve saw reports of the game crash back to desktop, but never rebooting the machine.
Maybe some antivirus or firewall permission needed? thats my best guess.

It just did it a couple more times. It's only doing this when I try to join the server. If I load the track offline, it's working fine. Weird.

Are you guys all using Steam? I'm not. I do have a Steam version, but it's the beta and probably won't work since the Super V8's have updated to version 1.48 for beta users. This is 1.46 I believe.

Maybe some safety software as I said detects it as a intruder software and shut the machine down to prevent a hacking. Thats the more logical assumption...lol.
I would had no idea where to look.

Try to use the Sync toy to update, and see if it detects something.
Or use the files from RD to make a manual update.
I have both Steam and Non Steam versions, and both are logging in on the server fine here. Just tested.

Thanks Angelo. I did run Sync again and it didn't detect anything different. I re-downloaded the game a couple weeks back to get rid of any third party mods, so it's a completely clean install. Just weird it's only crashing when I join the server. I have GSC allowed on my firewall. Sometimes I hate these damn computers!
