#1 of a four race weekly mini-series.


Time to play with some new content to keep us busy before Hawks rolls out the next V8 season.

Montreal was a test conversion from rF1 that ISI did with their new modding tool and brought up to rF2 minimum standards (RealRoad, etc.) however the visuals are still rF1-ish. The Corvette C6R has been updated with ISI's new tire model and it's a lot of fun to drive.

Will you have the download custom skins enabled on the server?

Do we need to say which car we're going to drive?

I know there are not to many skins for these, and we'll probably have dups, but I'm going to run the #15.

I noticed something weird with the track, not sure if this will happen to everyone, but if I dive into the pits w/out requesting a pitstop, my pit is not open to me, so I have to request a pit or it wont pit my car.

Not a problem for most of us as you guys request a pit all the time, but I forget to request at least half the time.

@scott: Yes, skin transfers are enabled. Race any car, there aren't many to choose from.

I need to find at least 2 seconds in these cars. I will be spending some time tweaking my setup for sure.

I don't think the skin transfer is enabled on the server. At least I'm not seeing the red/green transfer box next to my name. Maybe someone can check the server?

I did when I started it last.

I would be more interested to know if others can see your skin rather than rely on that coloured square. I'll also check the skins folder on the server to see if it uploaded.

I see two different files uploaded on the server. C6R_03_42_alt_41.dds and C6R_03_42_ALT41.mas

The correct file is the alt_41 file. Not sure why there are two.
