Ordem e Progresso, indeed.... I'm still trying to get this game setup, so I'm probably 50/50 at best on being able to make it out there tonight. I'm gonna try to get it going. If anybody has basic settings for these cars and a G27, it'd be greatly helpful. Right now my wheel has a huge dead zone and FFP is hardly registering. OR..if you know the keyboard shortcut to force the rf2 window to be movable when "Windowed" mode is enabled, that'd also help a bunch. Google hasn't found me anything that's been very helpful.

Had a blast again with these cars. I really like how close all of the racing is with these cars. 2 different tracks and small grids yet lots of very close racing. Seems to me it would be a good idea to have this as a series for the other Wednesday night series. Just throwing it out there.

Race one was spent mostly getting comfortable in the car. I was running way too much wing (2/30, aka default) on the default tune and was getting murdered down the straights. I still managed to crawl into the top 5 through the misfortune of others.
I tweaked the aero for R2 and things started going much better. I had enough speed down the straights so I could be close enough to actually race others when we got to the corners. I slowly picked through the field getting as high as 3rd (briefly), before I got turned around and tumbled back down the order to 7th or 8th. I clawed back up to Jimmy & Sheldon and closed the race out w/ a nice scrap with them, somehow managing to get back up to 5th.

I ran into the same issue at Montreal with my straight line speed. Had my rear wing to 25 so looks like I will need to lower that a bit so I can have some more speed. Will have to see how it goes on the next track and in the rain.

Had a great time again last night. I was very surprised to get the pole, but as soon as the races started, I could feel I was in trouble. My car just didn't feel right. Made a stupid mistake in R1 and hit the wall and blew my engine, which kinda surprised me. R2 started about the same as R1. I lost the lead right away and struggled to keep pace. But that's racing and it's still fun.

I had a blast. Jeff gifted me a win, so thanks for that! I ran the wing at 18. It was swirly but I didn't want to give up the speed on a pretty long straight. Can't wait for the rain!

I had a blast. Jeff gifted me a win, so thanks for that! I ran the wing at 18. It was swirly but I didn't want to give up the speed on a pretty long straight. Can't wait for the rain! That explains it. In the first race I was all over your bumper under braking and in most corners, but you always got away out of the corners and down those long straits. JImmy came on and popped that fast time, and said he was running a 25 rear wing when I was running an 18, so I bumped it up, but it felt bad, so I dropped it to 22 and it felt great, but still kept me from running you down on the straits and corner exit. I should have stayed at 18, might have made for even more action. and the last lap may have ended differently, because I had a good draft on you coming to the line, but when I stepped out to try to pass it kinda stalled. I'd like to say maybe next race, but I've never raced in the rain.

I dropped from 2/30 in R1 to 1/20 in R2.
