If anyone wants to do a 30 minute test run of race distance weather I will be on at 7:15 to do just that in a race session.

It's race day in America! I hope everyone has practiced racing in the rain! Remember... wet Quali, wet Race drying throughout.

Learned the hard way that these cars are a little sensitive to damage. Light hits with the walls screws steering up severely. However, pitting gets the car fixed pretty well. Moral of the story - keep it on the track! With cars in front kicking up water it is difficult to see your brake points and apexes. Obviously, the braking points will change throughout the race. Looking forward to it

Thanks all for coming out. A good field of about 10 guys. A few glitches with the rain unfortunately, so that's not quite ready for regular use but it's fun as an exhibition thing.

I don't know, even with all the trouble I had with the rain tires in race two, I would do it again, that was fun and a little interesting. OK, BRAGGING TIME!!!! I GOT FAST LAP IN BOTH RACES!!!!! Had to be done as it's the first and second time ever, and will probably never happen again, so give me this at least.

Congrats on the fast laps, Dan. You just kept going faster and faster on the softs. Extra congrats to Scott for his first GBR win. Scott likes rF2 Corvettes!

Congrats, Dan!
I had a lot of fun last night. Great battle with Scott and Chris in both races. I think I could have caught Scott in race 2 but not sure I would have gotten by. I was pushing hard and took too much curb in the kink turning my car into, as Dale put it, a dreidel. I am glad we gave the wet race a try and hope we can mix it into another series one day.

Really enjoyed that last night. Yeah there were some bugs...but I don't think game breaking ones. Had a lot of fun. Race 2 was getting really interesting right there at the end. I bet Scott is glad the race wasn't 5 minutes longer!

Yeah, I'm very happy with the 30 minutes. I was really trying to be careful to stay on the track in race 2. I was just watching Dale's times and managing as best I could. I could have pushed a little harder those last few laps, but didn't want to unless it came down to it. And it almost did lol. Anyways, it does feel good to get my first win. And what's with fast lap Dan? Man, both races! I'd really like to see a series with these cars. I like them.

I had a great time and my goal was to finish. I've never run a race in the rain so I had no idea how this was going to go for me. Race 1 was going pretty well and I was right behind Dan and Dale when they pitted. So I joined them but the on the out lap I got on the brakes a bit late and almost took out Dale, so instead went off track. From there it was flat spot city. Still had a blast and really enjoy these cars.
Looks like I will be running a series soon (thanks dan) I will start looking into tracks and once we get the V8 schedule I will see about hosting the off Wednesday nights.

Congrats on the Win Scott. I don't know where those fast times came from, I was in chase mode, especialy in Race two after all my mistakes in the rain. @ Jimmy, It was just a hint man,if you don't have time, you don't have to run a series. I will say this, as far as any series we have run here, this has been the tightest fields and the most racing I have ever seen from all the drivers. Normally, we get spread way out, especially in the back, but it seemed to be pretty close racing all through the field, and that makes it a great series to think about.
