good racing guys.....my second race went to shit after the pit and not knowing where the pit lane started i kept getting stop and goes than dq on my last stop cause it regestered as a pit stop ?

Good stuff tonight, guys. I had some pretty ragged races but finished OK. Whatever, I had fun! Seems that there's a few minor technical issues to sort out.
It looks like we need to restart the server on the afternoon of race day just to refresh it. IIRC, it crashed for the exhibition race too.
Simresults won't process the results files so I can't upload those for viewing. For now, use LiveRacers. I'll try to do the points table by the weekend... I forgot to make the template for this season so gotta do that first.
I'll also set the quali to private for next race.

It was great seeing a 17 car grid again. It could have been 20+ if Jason, Boza, Kelly and Joe were able to race so the potential is there and that is awesome!
I was able to take advantage of others misfortunes in Race 1 and go from 11th to 5th. I think I am going to have my hands full this season with Robb! In our exhibition and in Race 1 we were very close and had some great battles. I am looking forward to future battles with him and everybody else.
Race 2 also allowed me to move up due to some other drivers being a bit too aggressive. I probably would have ended up 6th in Race 2 but on the back straight I clipped the left wall and my steering was fooked. I thought I might be able to finish the race but the steering was just too messed up. So I decided to pit to get that fixed. Since I had already pitted once for tires I made sure to not get new tires or more fuel and was only stationary in the pits for 17 seconds. The steering was fixed and I was able to reel in Tony Diamond who must have also had some mechanical issues.

Was a fun evenning until the inevitable screwups..lol. Not as huge fan of that track as there in not a lot of room for error. It will be fun to race with you Jimmy. Congrats to the finishers.

That was really fun last night. We had some good racing. It looks like this is going to be a great season.
Is it possible to get Montreal running on the server?

Bit of a frustrating night for me. I had decent pace but struggled with the brakes. I kept going into corners too deep and locking them up. Damaged the car in the first race that was repairable but in the second race I killed the engine like Chris did.
Still had a blast though.

Great night of racing. I think was a nice debut for SCE here at GBR, with a solid turn out. I just feel sorry for the guys having troubles to get the Sim working. I hope you can solve your problems for the next one. On my part, I had a solid beggining and lots of fun. Race 1 was a very intense battle with Ricardo, who was really strong for the sprint race. I manage to beat him in a gutsy move on that very fast right hander, which was crazy! Race 2 I went for a alternative strategy with tires...using different compounds for front and rear. It worked quite ok in terms of laptimes, but after 12 laps or so the car was a true handful...with the back end very very loose. Was so crictical midways that I gave up the fight with Kurt because I wasnt feeling confortable. I had a spin in the beggining, then a accident with Ricardo who was a lap behind after some troubles, and half a spin towards the end...still manage 3th, which is not bad at all. After my first spin I dropped to 9th and had fun working my way trough the field, with some admirable respect from fellow drivers fighting for position in such a tight track. Dale and Rich Mink specially. Congrats to Jeff that survived all the madness from the first few laps to get a nice Win on the feature race. Thanks for bring this to us staff, should be good fun all season long.  |

Thanks Dale - just got home. The current layout is the one I wanted. Unsure of lap count yet. Need to see some lap times before I decide.
