Reminder to all. Given past experience with this sim and the server crashes, I will restart the server at about 5:30 Pacific time so that we have a fresh server for the evening. If you're practicing at that time, I'll ask you to leave via text chat. If you don't see the message, I'll restart it while you're on track!

F5 to turn it on if you stall. Then you can turn it off right away. I'll have to write that on a sticky note...no way I'll remember in the middle of a race!

I can't believe it, but I may have to miss tonight. My wife is sick. If I'm there, I'll go as long as I can.
Change in plans. I'll be there tonight.

Man.... I don't know what's going on? The car feels fine in practice and Qually, but come race time it feels off. I don't think I have actually finished a race yet. I thought I was finally getting better and faster, but at the moment I might as well be running Demo Derby.

Was nice to be back on the grid and running with the crew. Seriously misjudged how the no pit stop thing would go on the second race so that won't be happening again but still a good time. Sorry about getting loose in front of you Dale in Race 1. Got a bit greedy on the throttle there. Oops! Cheers! -K-

Sorry about getting loose in front of you Dale in Race 1. Got a bit greedy on the throttle there. Oops! It's OK, Kelly. I probably shouldn't have followed so close that early on your first race back. Anyway, Race 2 made up for it!

Yeah that's exactly why I backed off the two little battles I found myself in with Chris in R1 and you in R2. Just wasn't super comfortable going bumper to bumper and battling for position in my first race back in a LONG time. Great racing though and glad to see things are as clean and as competitive as ever!

I would like to apologize for my radio silence last night. Apparently my mic wasn't working because I was hearing everybody and even talking back. To Chris: I am extremely sorry for the wreck in race 2. We had a 4 car train going and I was in your draft and I even got on my brakes earlier than I normally would but I did not get on them hard enough. I was apologizing the entire time but nobody heard. I want to say that I spun on the last lap to let you pass on purpose and to make up for the wreck but unfortunately I just got on the gas too hard and spun myself. I still had a blast in both races trying to get around you. This was the first event I have had GID and I don't know how I have raced so long without it. I was able to NO stop race 2 because GID was showing me exactly how much wear I had left on my tires. Halfway through the second lap I still had well over 50% on all 4 tires so I just went for it. Glad I did. I am happy with my results and looking forward to the next race.
