Hello Gentlemen, Happy Holidays to all!
I would like to sponsor some GBR events but I have a couple of questions. As most of you guys are West Coast I would need to know what time of day and day of the week works best for most. What category of cars are people most interested in? Also, what is up with the GBR league that we have in iRacing? Is it still viable? Best to all of you and your families this Holiday Season. Let me know what you all think. iRacing is my only sim right now. I own quite a bit of content now so the big expense for me is over. I can now use some funds to sponsor one offs or maybe even a series if participation is good enough. Thanks guys. See you soon.

Snappy, I will make you an admin for the GBR iRacing league so you can schedule races, etc. I can do races any weeknight after 7:30pm.
Merry Christmas!

SnappyDee (David Tajeda) will be hosting some GT3 races for the next few Sundays. He posted over at RaceDepartment and said I can repost here. They are kind of early for the West coast guys. You can find the thread in the RaceDepartment forums here: www.racedepartment.com/threads/iracing-hosted-gt3-club-races-sundays-9-00am-est.115129/Here is the post: OP has been edited - sessions are now two hours:). Sessions require password which I will post the day of the race. These RD club races are casual events I am hosting for the purpose of providing the opportunity to race using the iRacing service but without the pressure of worrying about iRating and Safety Rating. The majority of the tracks will be base content but there will be some of the more popular paid tracks mixed in as well. All skill levels are welcome to join in and race. Please race respectfully and have fun. Two Hour Sessions: 1 hour practice, 20 minute quali (single car, 4 laps), 40 minute race. Race fuel limited to 60 percent. You may have to pit so use the time in practice sessions to find your stall. There are also 2 fast repairs available. Session requires password which I will post up here on the morning of the race. Password = The cars: BMW Z4 GT3 McLaren MP4 12C GT3 RUF RT12R Track Ford GT3 GT3 Sunday December 27th, 2015 @ 9:00 am EST - Okayama International (base content) Sunday January 3rd, 2016 @ 9:00 am EST - Daytona circa 2007 (base content) Sunday January 10th, 2016 @ 9:00 am EST - Spa (paid content) Sunday January 17th, 2016 @ 9:00 am EST - Laguna Seca (base content)

Glad to see these races happening. Unfortunately, 6 AM on a Sunday isn't going to work for me. I stay up late and sleep late on the weekends.

I hear you F1. I know most of you guys are west coast and that's why I need feedback as to what time/day is better for you guys. I'm seeing that Mondays, Saturdays, and Sundays on the calendar are pretty wide open.
Would anyone here be interested in races and practices that start at 11pm EST on those days? That makes it 8pm over there. Let me know guys. Of course, you guys are always welcome to join the 6am races. :-) LOL

Sunday, Monday & Wednesdays are bad for me due to current racing schedules. Tues/Thurs I'm free after 6:30pm. Fri/Sat I'm off all day...but my availability will be dependent on whether I'm currently elbows deep in any projects.

Can you get me set up some time tonight. It's looking like Tuesday nights for now. 11pm EST which is 8pm EST your time. Now, the big question is: What cars would you guys want to race? Oval or Road?

Sounds great Snappy. That time will work for me, I usually get home about 10:45pm from work. I would suggest road racing to start out. Most of the guys here have a lot of road content, so you can use a lot of different tracks. Start a new thread and put up a poll for what cars to run. My choice would be GT1, but let the majority decide. If you need any help hosting, let me know. I have plenty of iRacing credits which I can use to setup the hosted sessions. I'm already an admin in the league, so that won't be a problem either.
