This last update for Season 1 is a fucking disaster. So much is still broken.....
Watch, 1/2 the field will disconnect during the 24...

What are we driving? Also, I can set up practice session for us to get together.
When is this race? I am on the East Coast, how badly will that impact the way we assign stints?

I don't have the GT1 Aston or the C7DP.
I will pickup whatever car we pick to run, though. That Aston looks really nice with that livery, Chris. Maybe just make the 2o2p logo smaller and move it down to just infant of the back wheels then put the GBR logo in its current place.
I need lots of practice so let me know what we are driving.
Is there a Roar before the 24 with the exact same cars? If so, are we running it?

It's going to be a GT3 car or the CDP. The GT1 Aston is something I'm running for another race. I don't know if there is a Roar Before the 24...but to be honest I haven't even looked. I've got another endurance race this weekend I should be prepping for (2 hours @ Bathurst). Even if there was a Roar Before, it will typically be different cars from a slower class. Being East Coast is fine. We'll be having to try to cover the full 24 hour spread, so as many differing time zones and schedules we can get the better. Figure there will be close to 2 - 2 hour stints for each driver, so close to 4 hours of drive time. Plus shared pit crew time. I'll likely be on the pit box the last 3 hours or so working out our final fuel/pit strategy. I'll be putting together another Google spreadsheet here in the next few days.

Is this officially from iRacing? They put up 24 hour practice already this week and they usually don't do that until the week of the event. So the race would be this weekend Jan 16-17, NOT 23-24 like it says in that schedule. I can't find anything official from iRacing in the iRacing forums about the Road Warrior schedule.

It is the 23-4. If you go to schedule and click on the little calendar there is no race this weekend, but it does show the green at 5am (PST) on the 23rd. It seems as though they have 2 weeks of practice & qual sessions for the event this time.
I agree, pretty shitty communication from iRacing. All the info seems to be buried.

Pretty sure that came from their Facebook page. Practice is likely up early to sort out any dynamic weather/track/server issues.

The only GT3 car I don't have is the Ford. I don't own the Corvette DP either but as soon as it's decided I will pick up the one I need. Let me know guys. I need to practice.

It's worth practicing even w/ the FGT3 if you aren't familiar w/ the track layout. Entry into T1 is especially tricky.

If you can handle it in the Mclaren, you'll probably be fine with any car we drive. I've found that one to be one of the more unstable cars when corners aren't perfectly smooth.

I'll pick it up tonight and start running laps...many laps. I'm not to keen on the C7 Prototype but I'll give it a go anyway. If that is the car the team ends up going with.

Oops, I misread your earlier post. Don't buy the Ford if you don't have it yet. Especially since it's going to be leaving official service later this year when the new GT3 car/s are released. Just use something you currently have for the moment until we make a final decision.

Very well. I will continue using the McLaren but I get the feeling that it is not gonna be the one. I'll also run laps in the Z4. I haven't driven it this season at all so maybe I'll have an easier time than last season.

Should I set up a practice session for Daytona? Did I read correctly? Is the race going to run with night setting?
