Corvette C6.R Event 5 - Jarama 02/17/16

All I can say is, SAVE THAT SETUP DAN! It could probably work well at other tracks. And oh by the way, I want it.

I didn't do as well as I hoped last night, but I did do my fastest lap in race 2. A 31 something. And as usual I had a great time racing with you guys. It's always fun.

Congrats Dan. That was a strong and solid performance, and I think that on those cars, if you put some effort in practice, doesnt need to be very much, you will still be strong on other rounds.

Another fun round to me, I enjoyed as usual.
Rich and Jeff raised the bar quite a bit on Qualy, and was quite an effort got that Pole Position.

For Race 1 I completely blew it on my own at T1 after the start...trying to keep the lead. Bad mistake, and Im happy I didnt took Rich with me. After drop to last, I had a blast working my way back...with some good fights along the way. Overtake Dan was quite difficult, he was really fast. But Im pretty sure be backed off to let me thru after a while, because our fight was allowing Chris to get closer and closer.
I was really happy with 2nd at the end, was more than I expected after that off.

For Race 2 again I lost the lead after the start to Rich, but then was about keep a good pace and keep the tires alive for the entire distance. I managed this quite well. The battle was again fun and fair, and after the midway distance I got Rich in a great move while we were lapping Ed. That was quite an intense moment and what makes racing so addictive!

Thanks to everyone that showed up...I just wish we could have 3 or 4 drivers more to make a more respectable grid size.
