Complex track, this one. Very difficult be consistent, hit brake marks and find the right lines. Some weird corners that break the flow, but is a challenge one, definetly.

IT'S RACE DAY!!!Not many practice times showing up on LiveRacers. Hopefully everybody is just either very familiar with the track or they are gonna see if the Sherburn method works for them. Hope to see the regulars on the grid and would love for a few pop ins to show up too (looking at you Hawks, David, Sheldon, Boza, Tony D, Kelly, Tony H)

I can't make it tonight Jimmy, sorry. Hell, I've hardly been able to make my own series this season.

Congrats to Rich & Angelo on the wins. A big hats off to Dan for a stellar drive last night. I had nothing for you. All in all it was a good night, finishing ahead of Dale in both races. That will help pull the points gap a bit closer.

Definitely not a track that I could drive without practice. The first race was OK but my concentration was gone in Race 2 so I used it as a tire testing session and drove opposite to my usual style to see what happened. In the process I destroyed the front left tire and had to pit to replace it.

Dan was a man on a mission last night! Great to see him mix it up with the top 3 guys. Pro Tip - Racing with no in game sound is near impossible! I had a decent race 1, was lapping much faster than I was during practice. Shaved 3 seconds off my best practice time during race 1. As I said, no in game sound for race 2 so I was way distracted and it showed. I had plenty of tire left at the end of the race so I should have placed higher than last if not for my technical issues. Oh well, still had a blast and I really enjoyed that track. Sure it was way to damn bumpy in sector 2 but I liked the elevation changes. See every one in 2 weeks in Dubai.

I was very happy with my finish in race one, I had a good qually and finished in the same spot. Race two was all adrenaline, Once I figured out I could keep pace with the top three, (I know they were watching tire wear at the time, and I was running full out)I got pumped and could not quit, then I noticed Angelo and Rich starting to pull away, but Jeff was still there and I had a chance to run with him in front of me instead of moving out of his way as usual. So I kept my foot in it, then I noticed Jeff was starting to wash out in certain corners from tire wear, so the race was on. If Jeff hadn't washed out in the forth turn from the finish I wouldn't have been able to get by, but he did and I floored it.
I think my tune had a lot to do with it. Rich sent me his tune to try, and the car just washed out on every corner for me, so I looked at it and compared it to what I had and decided to go the opposite direction. I raised the ride height and softened the suspension by 400 lbs, and it stuck, even in the bumps, and apparently made the front tires last longer. So I think it was mostly luck with the tune that had me running in the front half of the pack for once.
I'll most likely be running in my normal spot in the next race, battling with Scott and Ed, and trying to keep Chris, Dale and Jimmy in sight, but I'll definitely remember this race as a highlight for a while to come.
