As many of you know, I regularly participate in the NASCAR iRacing Fixed Series, which tracks the actual Sprint Cup schedule. Some races are half distance, but some, including this week's at Charlotte, are full length. For the Coca Cola 600, that means 400 laps!!! Anyway, in what is surely my biggest accomplishment of my otherwise mediocre sim racing career, I got the win today in my split of the race. It took over 4 hours and some real fortitude. It was tough going early as I got stuck on pit road during a couple of yellow flags and so I went two laps down. I fought back, however, and was able to avoid trouble the last 100 laps and get the win. As you can see from the race results, it was a wreckfest, I was one of only two racers with 0 incidents. LOL!

Congratulations Craig!!! That is one to really be proud of. The longest race of the year. And to come back from 2 laps down is amazing.
