Following a resounding success at the Nurburgring, the next one is just around the corner. It'll be a nice short one this time though. Only 6 hours! Might as well be a sprint race. Tag up if you are interested. We'll be running 2-3 drivers per car. The number of cars we enter will be based upon the number of interested drivers. I've got a couple new recruits that I've been running touring cars with under the GBR banner...after their last endurance team left them hanging without a ride for Nurburgring. I'll have a spreadsheet (with a new column for iRating) up this week so we can start planning driver pairings. We'll try having starting drivers with as close as practical iRating in the hopes to get multiple cars in the same split. Pending drivers: Chris S. - DP / C-spec Tristan B. - DP / GT3 (BMW) Bill D. Dale G. - DP / GT3 (Audi) Sheldon W. David T. - GT3 (BMW) / C-spec Armando E. - DP / GT3 (Audi,BMW) Dave F. - C-spec / GT3

You know it! I'm in.
I'm willing to host practice sessions as well. It would be nice to run Ullman stints so we can do fuel calculations. Any idea what cars are eligible yet?

Haven't seen yet. Fuel should end up being right around an hour...give or take a bit.

I am interested. Any thought of entering different classes?

I am interested. Any thought of entering different classes? That would depend if there was anyone that was mental enough to want to drive the DP. I would be game...though I would need to lease it (not a huge deal...I leased the DW12 a car which I detest for the Pac Majors). I did enjoy the Riley for the little time that I had run it. Out laps are pretty sketch as you have to wait to get some heat in them...but after spending seat time in the V8s & Kia, it really isn't that big of a deal for me.

Looks like they finally posted the cars.
Proto - Vette DP GT3/GTD - Mercedes, Audi, BMW GTC - C-spec
So go ahead and post your prefered class/cars in order. If we get enough drivers for 4 cars, it might be fun to split 2 cars into a different class.

I'll try to remember to setup a couple more teams tonight (GBR3 & GBR4) so we are covered. Let me know if you need invites to GBR1 or GBR2. Most everyone should have those 2 already.

Remember, I am willing to host practice sessions whenever and my schedule coincides with you West Coast guys. For example: I can set up a session that starts at 10pm EST until 1am EST and I think that would allow most of us to participate.
I really like the RUF since we ran the Nurby 24 together. My favorite GT3 is the McLaren but it has been excluded (no love). I have the BMW but haven't spent much time in it. I think I struggled with it because I didn't have it set to AutoBlip so downshifting was a chore. I do have both cars so I am willing to run either one.

The BMW auto-blips itself...so make sure it's turned "off". Having the aid on can actually slow the downshifts and upset the balance of the car.
