2016 24hrs of Spa - Aug 6/7 (1300 GMT)

Next round in a little over a month. Post up if you're interested so you can be accounted for.



Single class GT3. Primary GT3 car for GBR in 2016 is the Mclaren, with the FGT acting as backup. Expecting 4-6 drivers per car. With some interest from the Sunday Kia Club league GBR team, we may have enough to field 2 cars. Stay tuned for more information. GT3 cars have not been selected at this time. Merc, Audi, and BMW are a shoe-in. The question is the remaining 2. I'm guessing it will be the Macca & FGT to match current Blancpain series lineup.

I "may" have done a bit of running this weekend. I'll try to post up the setup I've started working with this week (meant to do it yesterday). It's a little on the tight side (bit of a push), but is stable through the high speed corners.

I'll certainly be getting some seat time in this car on this track. I've got a 4hr Pac Majors race here the week before.

Going to run the Macca for that as well for additional seat time.

Running 12th, 7hrs in. Sheldon's up in about 5 laps.

12 hours down, 12 hours to go. I just came into the pits in 5th place at the end of a double. Sheldon's back in the car, and in 6th place. I had made the pass for 5th about 4 laps before I had to pit, so I knew we'd be giving it back right away. With a bit of luck and a clean run, we should get it back when they pit.

We had a big shunt in Blanchimont w/ only 1.5 hours left while running 5th. 13 minutes of repairs later we were underway in 9th place. Picked up 1 more spot on the final run, with Boza crossing the line in 8th place.
