Results and Standings updatedThat was a lot of fun. I think a larger grid would have made for some very close racing throughout the field but I know it is summer and real life comes first. The standings are very close and with Jeff and Boza missing that really shuffled the order. David, Chris and Jimmy all leapfrog Jeff and Boza. With 3 races left the difference between 2nd place and 7th place right now is only 20 points. So the last 3 races will really be interesting to see how the top 3 finish for the season. Thanks again for coming out. I think for the next race I will come up with some topics of discussion as everybody was super shy on TS last night. Perhaps everybody was preoccupied between races looking for Pokemon on their phones? See everybody in 2 weeks at Brands Hatch. JImmy

I can't play Pokemon Go... my phone died. The replacement won't be here until after the weekend.
Yes, fun racing. Unfortunately my PC locked up in Race 2 so I got a DNF instead of 4th. I had a good Race 3 though... 3rd place behind the aliens.
I couldn't find my setups from the previous rounds so ended up running the default which worked OK. It wasn't until this AM that I realized I was running the wrong rF2 install. Sigh.

Hmm, looks like I took the Champ?  Anyway, fun night of racing. Shame about the low turn out. I had intense fights with Rich and Dave...and for the first time managed the perfect score. Just like to say sorry to Rich about our contact in Race 1. I take responsability for that one. A lap later after that I waited for him to regain position, and was in 4th with 5 laps to go. Was a surprise fight Dave for the win in the last lap...and what a fight! Like 4 corners side by side. The other 2 heats were good fun aswell, specially as usual the last one. Thanks Jimmy for hosting this for us. |
