I’d like to run another GBR GT Series but this time in rFactor2 using the United Racing Design (URD) EGT mod. This exhibition will be used to test the mod and everyone’s interest. We will be using v2.0 of the mod. It is a pay-mod and is currently priced at €5.40, which is ~$6.00 US and worth every penny. You can purchase the mod at their web shop. You need to select EGT rFactor2 in the center of the screen. **If you already own the mod you need to make sure you update to v2.0. You should have received an email from them with a link to the new files. I received mine on July 5 from “alles”. Do a search of your inbox for unitedracingdesign if you cannot find it. ABS will be off to align with the real-world GTE regulations. TCS Low and Auto-Clutch will be available. I haven't done this in a while so please report any issues. Oh geeze, I got that email from them but I didn't bother to update because I didn't think I would need it. I think I have v.98. I guess I'll try and update.
Edit: I'm updated to v2.0. Man these cars feel great. They did some good work on this update.

These cars are a blast. I think I already like these even better than the 'Vettes we ran a series back.

I may try to join...but I have a Championship on Wednesdays to start in September. If there is no conflicts...who knows? This URD Mod reminds me of our old WEC season...one of the bests I had here at GBR. Those cars should be used on longer races. Like 1 hour events.

As long as I'm in town that week, I should be there. Love these cars.

I'll be running the C7R-04 for the exhibition, not sure what to run if we make it a full series.
Can one of you that has access to the site get me a copy of the templates please.

Hey Dan, if you get the templates, you know what paint job I want. I have a C6R-ZR1 Rothmans .dds if that will help. For the exhibition I'm going to drive the C7R-2015 #50.

Hey all, I'm trying to load a custom skin that I made and I'm stumped. I'm hoping someone here can help. I'm not sure if it's a problem with the .DDS file, or something on the rF2 end. I have my flattened .DDS file saved from GIMP in the loose skin directory at: ...Userdata\player\Settings\URD_EGT_Darsche\DARCHEEGT\longhornjoealt.dds When I select the "LONGHORNJOEALT" variant skin, it looks all jacked up: It looks the same here as it does on the track. The DDS file looks good in GIMP as far as I can tell: www.dropbox.com/s/0a1y8f0vr06rujz/longhornjoealt.dds?dl=0I seem to remember something like this happening in rF1 with the LMP skins, but I can't remember what ended up as the fix for that.

As I don't use Gimp all I can tell you is something I heard someone tell another about this issue. And that is that Gimp sometimes saves the image upside down. Look at your saved dds, and compare it to the template and see if they are oriented the same, if not, rotate your image before you save. Other then that I have no clue, but I can tell you you do not have to flatten the image before you save to dds.
