Upgrade to lifetime - check Download URD EGT V2 - check Retrieve Steam key - check Install Steam rF2 - installing Install URD EGT V2 - pending So far so good. We'll see how all this goes. Hopefully I can get everything set up in time. Well at least you are doing it the day before the race and not 10 minutes before the race.

Well duh. It's more than just a track. Though I'll still be installing the mod just before the race...if I can figure out how. But it is downloaded at least.

Yeah, I already deleted my old rF2 files to prevent any confusion. ...And to free up the hard drive space...

What about pitstops? I know we won't need one for the first race, but what about the second race?

My lovely wife has informed me that I'd agreed to accompany her to a dinner with people from her work tonight. If I've learned one thing, it's that there are certain times where you don't want to insinuate that your wife is making things up, so it's for this reason that I must excuse myself from tonight's exhibition.
That said, these cars seem like they'd be great to run in a series.
I hope everyone has a good time tonight.

The Toyota GTO Celica season will not collide with a big season I have starting in September, so I have to choose that series. Plus today some pretty big games at the Olympics here in Brazil.
Have fun guys.

Thanks for coming out guys. I will need some time to plan the season. I am open to track suggestions as long as they are good versions and in the realm of these cars in real life.

Thanks for hosting this Dave. It was fun even though I was way off the pace from everybody else. If we turn this into a series I will have to do some serious tweaking to keep up with you guys. My PB was a 1:39 which put me at the bottom of the list.
Race 2 I hit the wall on turn 8 and my suspensions was bent. 190 seconds of repairs 3 laps in was just too much for me. I space bar'd out of the pits hoping 45 seconds had fixed something but my wheel was still turning about 35 degrees to the left. That and my slow ass pace I just escaped out and watched the fun.

It took me a while to get settled, as I spent the entire hour prior to the race just trying to configure rF2. Most of my practice was in qual, I was still trying to learn the track. But eventually started to come to grips with it. R1 I was gifted the last podium spot. I had no right to be there, but the seas parted on that last lap. R2 was better. I was getting more comfortable in the car. It would've been interesting to see where I could've ended up if I didn't run off track to T1 to avoid contact w/ Scott when he moved over. But alas it was fun running people down and picking them off. Great little dice w/ Dan late in the race. We were both closing in on Brian as well. I think it would've gotten real interesting in another 6-7 laps. Good times. Thanks for hosting.

I happened to just pop into GBR site, and noticed you guys were racing. RF2 I'm in! Not a lot of good leagues with guys I've raced with in the past running RF2. I was excited to say the least. I hadn't run RF2 in a dogs age so I had to get everything sorted out. RF2 FFB is great once it is setup properly. Mine was not setup at all, so before the race I was just getting it sorted. My setup was junk as I spent most of my time getting RF2 configured.
As I was getting RF2 configured I started to get BSOD while in game. I was confused about the issue and it happened to me about 5 times. I then updated the video driver and it seemed to go away. As for the racing, you guys are all class acts! I can always expect clean racing when I come here.I thank you guys for that.
Race 1 I felt I really didn't have much for the top guys and felt gifted when the front runners go into a bit of trouble. I held on to 2nd and just went with it.
Race 2 I seemed to get a better start off the line, but was over driving the car a bit. I tried to make a pass at the end of the front straight and went right into the gravel, ended up losing my 3rd spot on the field. Oh well live and learn. I had a blast and would enjoy racing in a season with these cars. I think the competition will be deep. Hope to see everyone again soon. Thanks for hosting!
