This is the first round of our Race of Champions series. We will be using the Rfactor 2 Howston Dissenter at Watkins Glen Short. I turned the damage down to 25% and we will be running no assists except Auto Clutch. I want to try and run these cars true to the time period so I highly recommend everybody use their H-pattern shifter but if you don't have one that's OK too. I agree! Fun times to be had in some 1970's race car technology.

I have to tell you these Mavericks,Comets, Howstons have me a little vexed. I can't seem to dial them in. I had a 121 but I'm sure Mr. Hooper did his 122 with no tune. I had to push the car hard and I'm not at all confident the tires will hold up for 10 laps. It should be a fun race.

Marvelous car... I love this. I know it must be really scary to drive it in real life, not very pleasant, but on the Simracing enviroment...I love those old cars. Brings a smile to my face!

Fun car... I made some big mistakes in races 1&2, but had fun playing catch up, especially in 2. I caught up to Joe and Scott, had a couple good laps looking for holes and then blew it in T1 under breaking. Race 3 was a total disaster. I tried to give room at T1 lap one and hit the invisible wall just right and it broke my steering. So I tried to keep it going, by the time I felt I should just park it we had under 3 laps, so tried to finish. Shortly after this decision I came up the hill and touched the grass on the outside at the top, spun and rolled it. Noticed Dale coming so punched it to get out of his way just in time and then Angelo was coming as I rolled into the grass and the damn thing would not stop, almost rolled out in front of him, like I said race 3 was bad.

It was fun! It's good to be racing here again. Because of some health issues I had to take some time off. This was my first race on RF2. Now to try and figure out a tune for the V8's and another new game.

Thanks for the fun guys, much needed on my side to clear the mind for a few minutes. Today I got fired from my work...so yeah, stepping a bit into the unknow at the moment. Not a great feeling.
I hope to be able to still race in the future.
Good fun and as usual, great fights with Jeff. I was expecting a grid reversion or 2 to mix up things a little bit. Given the performance of Todd, Jim and Chris, I think we would had some pretty hard races. Anyway, pleasant night at the track, such a great car.
Cheers.

Ah shit, sorry to hear that Angelo.
I had a good night racing. By chance I did a ton of testing laps at this track (in a different car) last night so I was able to get up-to-speed a little quicker than usual. I didn't practice as I didn't think I was going to make it to the race.
