After getting taken out at T1 on L1, I ended up having a great race with another guy that had also been taken out on L1. Had dropped to tailend charlie (P20 or so), when I caught up to him as he was getting going again. We hooked up and worked our way back up the field to finish in 7th & 8th at the end. I never could really make a challenge on him though, as I had a bit of a slip up w/ 2 to go and dropped back 2 seconds. I was able to get back to his bumper at the finish, but no time to work on him. Good fun though.

I can run tonight if your going to be on. Whoops. Sorry I missed your post. I ended up running a FR2.0 race last night. Been an ugly week for racing. Both Tuesday & Wednesday had grids half full of Muppets. Effectively wrecked out of contention in the first couple corners in both races. I was able to continue on and finish the races w/ a wounded car...but not really racing anyone. |
