Track is great...up until the point you have to brake and tackle the chicane . After that, is great again.

This was a tough choice. I had never driven this track and I knew Chris and Angelo wanted different versions so I had to try them both out and see. So before I left for vacation I tried them both out. The front straight with the chicane to me was more interesting and actually fun. When I ran it without the chicane on the front straight I just thought it was boring. I am sure on race night this will bite me in the butt and I will probably blow the chicane and get a penalty. Oh well I know I can't please everyone but I hope we can all have fun.

Chicane version is classic GBR . We've run it in several series. Think of it as our Monaco.

Its all good, gents. I like the track either way. Just seems that nobody is willing to give the no chicane version a shot ever. But...yeah...that chicane sucks!!

Restart weekend is disallowed on the server. If that could be fixed for next round, would be nice.

Not going to make it tonight gents, I have grand kids tonight and one is still to young for me to leave alone while we race, and the other two are not old enough to watch him yet. And the wife is with their momma as she is making me a brand new one very soon (Like tonight we hope).

Not many times on liveracers but hopefully all the regulars show up tonight.
I've never raced here but this track seems like fun.

I'll be there.
Also, be aware if you're running Windows 10 and haven't installed this weeks' Windows Updates, KB4022716 takes a long time to download and install.

Chicanes, Chris. Too many chicanes in your life... Shame mate, we missed you. I voted to go on with the race, because I remembered from the Indy event last season, that we postponed and the race never happened. Also we could lose another driver. As for tonight, I had fun, even with just 6 drivers. Nice battles with Jef, Dale and Ricardo. Now maybe is time to revaluate this mid weeks series. As much as hurt me (Yes, AMS is my favourite Sim, but looks like is not the right one to bring more drivers), maybe is time to move on to Iracing, as there are a lot of Iracing drivers around here. Of course, that would be the end of me at GBR, but the place can grow up and have better grids. Anyway, thanks Jimmy, for take care of this for us.

Well that was a bummer of a turnout. I still really liked this track and was really get the hang of it. I spent most of the time in both races alone but had a short go at second place when Dale spun exiting the chicane in race 1.
It might be time to start doing some recruiting to look at filling up the grid. I know real life comes first and with lots of guys around here having kids, grandkids and moving on to other interests we are having a tough time filling the grid.
iRacing probably won't be anything I will sign up for anytime soon. I am too cheap to pay for something like that.
