classes started this week and I haven't been able to practice at all. Im going to try and get some laps down before the race. If I can't keep it safe I will just start practicing for next week.

Well I actually made the race. And then my internet went out!!! I think I was in last when it happened so hopefully it doesn't any trouble for anyone. Really enjoy those cars though and can't wait for the rest of the races!

I thought you rage-quitted! While a good ol fashion rage quit is definitely not beneath me, that wasn't the case last night hahaha

That sucks about the Disco Cody. Hope that can get all sorted before our next race. Apologies to Tim for the bump. That isn't usually how I drive and I hope you will come back for the rest of the series. I had some good battles with Dan in race 1 and with Dale in race 2. For about 15 laps I was right behind Dale just pushing and trying to make him have a mistake, but per usual I caused my own problems. I took a bit of a spin and Dale got 10+ seconds on me. I was still pushing to catch back up to him and by the last lap the gap had closed to 3 seconds. Either he was feeling bored and was letting me try and catch him for a late race battle, or I am just that damn good. I was shocked I got into the 1:42's and eventually the 1:41's since in practice I was at first having a hard time getting out of the 1:45's. I made it into the 1:43's in practice and felt pretty good with that pace, but during the races I was able to push just a bit more in some corners than I had previously thought. Really fun cars and track and looking forward to the rest of this series. JImmy

Really enjoy the cars, and I've always liked this track. Race one was a lot of fun, like Jimmy I thought I was going to be way off pace as 1:47 was my fast practice time, but some low 1:43's showed up in the race. Race two was another story. I was running with Joe and Jimmy when Joe spun I think, not sure, but anyway I hit the breaks hard and still got a piece of him out of turn one, then tried to minimize the distance between Jimmy and I and wound up in a barrel roll off the top of the hill that pretty much ended my night. I tried to keep pace with Joe who had a tumble at the end of the same lap, but the car just would not turn right anymore. But very fun cars.

I like these cars too. I've been trying to work on getting better with slip angles and rotating the car lately and these cars really seem to be workable with the low CoG and weight over the rear wheels. Race one was a fun one. My start was weak, and was already behind Jeff and Chris into turn one. I tried to keep pace, but couldn't match the consistency they had. I managed to keep them in sight off and on, but Dale crept up for the last 4-5 laps or so and we had a good fight. I don't know how I managed to hold him off. He was putting constant pressure on and and I nearly lost it a few times. To summarize race two... I had more than a few sloppy moments and managed to test the roll cage a little down the home straight. By the end of it, I was happy just to drive what was left of it home.

Had a blast harassing Jeff. Didn't have anything for him aside from hopefully being an annoyance in his mirrors...and the little tap in R2.

I was having a hard time handling the pressure!
