Wow. This track is...different.
Does else running DX11 or on a VR headset have a problem see all of the trees trackside about 50% transparent? That's a little distracting.

For the record, I'm not saying that we should switch venues, just that the off track scenery is a little distracting.
Truth be told, this track is completely different than the others we've done in this series. I kind of like it. To me it seems shorter than it actually is and flows almost like a kart track, which you don't quite get from the track map. From what I can tell, the Neva Ring (not to be confused with NuvaRing) was literally built out of a waterfront park and parking lot for Kirov Stadium--which was the site of the 1980 Olympics Soccer competition. The long 'straights' are sweeping turns. It's been a little tricky to learn (several "Crap, that was my turn." moments.). Running this in race traffic would be fun.

Well I don't have DX11 or a fancy VR headset so  But if you guys think it is too distracting and can find a nice DX11 compatible track that you like please let me know and I can get it swapped out ASAP. |

It's a little weird but I can live with it. People can easily switch back to the DX9 build if needed.
The track is kinda funky and different... it's like a parking lot autocross with long straights.

This is unrelated to this race but I'm not sure what other boards are monitored. Is there talk of another SuperV8 season at some point? I joined GBR with only 2 races left in the last season and I absolutely fell in love with those cars!

Also, are you guys running a lot or a little rear wing. This track doesn’t seem to require a lot of downforce EXCEPT for that chicane at the end of the long “straight”.

So we will be back in AMS for that series since their mod for the V8SC's seems to be very reliable. |

As long as they are a good fit to our league. We aren't concerned about speed/skill as much as we are on track behavior & attitude. No Forza public lobby mentality. We are small, but we are also pretty tight knit. |

I down loaded the mod and track last night and see what you were talking about the trees. But to me the overly bright white glowing track side objects was way more distracting. Anyone else seeing those?
