Do any of y’all have an opinion on tires for the longer race? I’m thinking the hard compound may be the way to go?

Mixed bag. A couple guys have had some success on hards. A couple of us can stretch softs. Some guys make their time w/ a pit stop (softs).

IT'S RACE DAY!!!
Let the madness begin.
For all the new guys we do allow restarts if there is a big Fustercluck at the start of the race. We try not to have too many restarts but 1 or 2 is fine if there is a crash at the start. So just let us know if there was an accident.
We do use Teamspeak and we encourage everybody to use it. We are competitive but I like to think we are all gentlemen racers also. During the races there isn't much talking going on mostly because everybody is concentrating, but we do use it to let lapped traffic know they have the leaders coming up on them and things like that.
Quali session starts at 7:15 PM Pacific / 10:15 PM Eastern, Races begin at about 7:30 PM Pacific / 10:30 PM Eastern. The quali session "should" be private and is 10 minutes. We will have 5 minutes between quali and the race. Race 2 starting order will be the same as race 1 and race 2 will start about 5 minutes after race 1 is complete. If you need more time just let us know and we can restart the warm up.
Good luck to everybody and looking forward to another great season.

Definetly out guys. Need to be working tonight, and most likely other nights of racing.
Good luck everyone on the season.

Anthony pitted, I didn't. If that race was 5 laps longer, I think I'd have made the wrong choice!

I want to thank everybody that made it out last night. It was nice to see a grid with double digits again. Thanks to the new guys that raced with us. Seems like all of the racing was nice and clean. I was also glad to see some guys who have been MIA for a long time back on the grid, David and Sheldon. Welcome back guys!
I had some good battles with Cody in race 1 and with David in Race 2. I was on David's rear bumper for half the race. It was our battle of the Brewery's. Guinness vs Bronx Brewery.
This looks like it will be a very competitive season with the new additions and with all the regulars. Looking forward to the rest of the season.
Results and points updated.

I felt the raciest I have in a long time in these cars. Ricardo's setup didn't work for me and I went in a different direction with tuning and it seemed to give a stable car over race distance. I may have got a podium in the first race too if I'd bothered to practice my starts!
Road America will be interesting to see who's strong there as it's a totally different type of track.
