One of my favourite tracks ever. I used to simrace GTR here about 17 years ago.

I should be able to make this one. I was able to make it through a 1hr race last night, so hopefully I should be able to manage this one...if the crud is still lingering around in another week.

A reminder to drivers:
Because of changes Reiza has made to the rF1 code once a driver enters the server, the weekend sequence of Practice-Warmup-Qualifying-Warmup-Race begins can't be made to stop if everyone leaves the server (as it could in rF1). Without intervention, the server will run through all sessions.
This means you may enter the server and be in, say, Qualifying. In that situation, any regular driver can use the voting function to restart the weekend which will take you to the beginning of a two+ hour practice session. If fact your can vote your way to any session you want.
I've set voting to a very low threshold for Yes votes (so the single initiating Vote should be enough) but there may be an unforseen situation where you need a few guys to vote Yes.

Sorry guys, I most likely wont be racing tonight because my wheel wont start up.
Got a Doctors appointment at noon, I'll take it apart after I get back, if I can figure it out I'll see y'all on track, if not, I don't know...

Good lord, what a track! Thought I had ran some laps here back in the day, but apparently I was wrong.  So, trying to familiarize myself with the course now. I intend to at least make an attempt of it, as frustrating as the cars are for me (for whatever reasons) We'll see. I doubt I'm going to find enough pace though, but I'll keep hacking away at it till race time and see what I come up with. ...place is narrow as all hell! ...and, once again, I'm like 4-5 SECONDS off pace  Idk...maybe it'll click eventually. We'll see. Hope enough show up that I can find at least some as slow as I tend to be in these things to have an enjoyable time with. |

Yeah, this track is crazy. Elevation and off-camber corners all over the place. Overtakes could get fun.

That sucks Ricardo.  It took me the first race to really get settled into the track. Wish I could've made it on a bit sooner, but oh well. Great tussle w/ Jimmy & Jason in the second race. Started the last lap with .3 seconds separating myself & Jason. Jimmy was only 3 seconds back a couple laps prior, but I was so focused on Jason I didn't see when Jimmy had an oopsie and dropped back. I thought for sure when Jason & I got together at the top of the hill that Jimmy was just gifted 2nd place. I was surprised to rejoin the track still in 2nd place. |

Tough track in these cars. The V8 mod we used back in Season 3 had a lot more traction I think.
For me it was all about keeping the fronts gripping without putting too much heat in them. Around much of the track, I found it quicker to let the car slide a little rather than fight it which made for a few scary moments.

A wonderful track, the championship on fire and this happens at the decisive time.
Unfortunately unforeseen events are also part of the show and this time I was the beholder. 
it was a shame, but let's go ahead.
