The race is only a couple weeks away. Post up if you are interested in running and what car you would prefer to run. Let's see if we can get a couple teams together.

I'd be up for the DP if it has a good performance advantage over the others otherwise the Ford GTE is good for me.
I prefer to not be in a car that has to draft and late-brake to make passes (like GTE vs GT3 in Autobahn)... I can't remember if the CDP is one of those cars.

Nah, the DP has a fair bit more passing power than the GTE cars. I was thinking of running these here as there are multiple straights to help facilitate the passing. I don't believe there is any TCS or ABS, so you have to be a little mindful of the pedals. Outlap on cold tires requires caution, but really only needs 1-1.5 laps to settle in.

Never really driven the DP, so I'm out for this one.

I'm going to test the two cars today. I read some fairly negative comments about the CDP last night that implied it might have issues but it was unclear if updates have addressed that.

I guess I never did post our outcome here from this weekend's race. Finished a disappointing 13th in class (25th overall), due largely to multiple discos (I think 4?) in the early stints...including on the grid, and Dale's GT3 enema (15-18 minutes of repairs). We were able to claw back up through the order somewhat (we were sitting around 38th overall the first time I climbed in the car), but the early discos still tainted the outcome. But alas, unlike Bathurst, the car came home in 1 piece at the end of the day.
