This track reminds me a little bit of Oschersleben when we ran it in the Flat6 Porsches a few months back. Plenty of higher-speed corners and plenty of passing opportunities. This should be a fun race with a nice turnout.

I'll be there despite my car skating around like it's on ice.

That was fun... I remember that track from TOCA2 on PS1, but I remember it being bigger lol. Still fun, looking forward to Croft.

I spent some time last night trying to get this car to make sense and I made a bit of progress, I thought. Think I just memorized the inputs more than anything though. Was fine enough on my own, driving around seeking out the limits...soon as the racing started, however, it was quite clear I still have absolutely no feel for these cars. I simply cannot get used to the ffb dropping out from under me every single time I'm turning and on the power at the same time. It's a very similar feeling to reversed ffb.
I've tried a bit of everything at this point, and I am now to the point of surrender. The cars are cool, the way they feel on track (the car itself) is solid. ...but I just feel like I'm walking on eggshells, never able to push the car in any way. As soon as I was off the line I'd been practicing it all went to hell in the first corners. Spun, sort of inexplicably, though it was probably that curbing I smacked (though I'd hit it 20 times, completely different "effect" come race time (perhaps some latency on my end, not sure)
Anyways, I'm going to drop out for this series. I appreciate the help initially and last night as well, it's just not working for me. If I can maybe come across something that allows me to make some adjustments that give the steering a proper feel I'd love to race these things, but as is I'm more a danger to others than anything else.
Sorry for leaving so early...was a little frustrated with things and needed to relax for a few.
