Havn't had a chance to comment on this yet, but that was very enjoyable. The car reminded me of the first V8 mod we raced here, just with a bit more grip.
Still need to do more with the FFB as it's a bit strong when running hard and to light at slower speeds.
I really enjoyed chasing people around, but I was so worried about causing a wreck that I backed off to much I think. I need to get more seat time in and see where I go from there, but I'm not sorry I picked this up/rented the sim.

I might host a Bathurst session tonight for an endurance practice since I won't be home in time for the Autobahn race. I'll add in a couple GT3 cars as well in case anyone not running the 12HR wishes to drop in for some laps. Let me know what car/s anyone would like added.

MX-5's at Pocono (the free one) but I don't know if we ever decided on the layout.

Someone brought up a good point that the East layout doesn't use one of the banked turns from the oval and that might work best with the Miatas.

Yeah, it definitely won't be the layout that uses most of the oval. I haven't really even looked at it much as my limited sim racing time this week is being focused on the upcoming 12HR race.

By the way...just putting it out there that the off-road Beetle is free and a road race on a tight circuit with them may lead to many lulz.

Session scheduled for 7pm PST. Global MX-5 @ 2016 Charlotte Road Course. No idea what layout it actually is as the names for selecting during the session selection are completely different from the drop down menu options during testing. So we'll all find out @ 7 tonight. |
