I've kept my iRacing stuff updated but for some reason it wont launch. Not the members page but the sim itself. Any ideas?
I haven't contacted iRacing about it yet and I haven't had time to look at the forums yet. Just checking to see if any of you have had the same issue.

I was on Sunday and Tuesday nights without issue. You could try the Beta web interface... link is at the top of the iRacing Members page.
There was a small patch on Tuesday that didn't affect anything for me.

Dan, are you using the Beta UI? Someone on a Facebook group I’m in mentioned his stopped working and was told to clear the cache and it worked. He wrote the following
here what it says to do:
We are looking into this but are unable to repro at the moment. Can you try deleting the local cache? This is stored in %appdata%\iracing-electron.
You can copy and paste that into a file explorer window and it will take you to the right directory. Then you can delete the contents of that folder and try launching the BUI again
just open that up and then go in to the cache folder and delete everything.

I don't normally use the Beta UI, but I will give that a go before digging into the forums tonight.

That worked, now I have to reset everything.
Wonder why it got corrupted or whatever caused it not to work.

Hopefully it was just an anomaly. I don't recall having that issue. The only thing I've run into before is sometimes I have to delete track folders if I don't run a track in a long time as they can miss an update that gets stacked onto if you don't always update everything (which I don't).

Ok it's borked again, but so are several other programs. So I think it's the drive. It's a hold over from before my last build and sometimes programs on that drive in particular open and sometimes they don't, started about a week ago, so time to replace it. I'll get it done this weekend.

Got the new drive, everything is reinstalled and seems to be working fine.
Now to overcome another dumb ass moment, my iRacing sub is up on the 30th and I thought it was good till march. So I wont be racing anything till the end of February because I just blew my gaming budget for the month on a new wheel for the X-Box so I could run FORZA 7, NASCAR Heat 4 and my DiRT games with a wheel again.
