Welcome to Season 3 of the GBR iRacing Championship
Rules:
Things will run more or less like the past seasons, the biggest changes will be the race restriction for eligible points and fewer drop weeks.
1. First and foremost.....HAVE FUN! We don't get paid for this (most of us have spent more money than we care to tally up), we are here for fun and comradery.
2. Only races from the scheduled session will count towards the championship. This will let guys be able to race as many times a week as they want, w/o gaining a competitive advantage over someone that may only want/be able to race once or twice a week.
3. 2 drop weeks will be allowed (down from 4 in the iRacing official series). 1 drop week per half of the season. The first drop to be factored in following Rd.7, the second drop after the final round.
4. In game "championship points" will be used for calculating round winners as well as points to the overall championship. This keeps everyone in it to win it in the event we get separated into different splits.

- 2 rescheduled races will be allowed for the season, 1 in the first 7 races, 1 in the last 6. Races must be run before the weekend. Race results must be provided to myself or Dave no later than 2359 Friday PDT. These race points will count only towards the season championship. If a reschedule race is intended for the final week (Week 13), the race must be run and submitted before the scheduled session that week to allow crowning of the season champion following our official race night.
