Some people are having mismatches with the server and/or seeing parts of the track unlit by the headlights at night. Here are two possible solutions. 1) See reply #4 below about deleting the HAT file. 2) Ensure you have the patch properly installed. Your Spa folder should look like this (I've highlighted the patch files): The patch is downloadable from Post One in the Spa thread.

... and you're getting blacked out parts of the track at night?
Some ideas:
- Check that you have DX9 selected in rFconfig.exe. - Ensure you don't have a second copy of this track installed in a different folder (that's a long shot)

I like it when people do the rFLite thing... it makes life so easy.
OK, try this. Go to this folder in your TCM install.
/<TCM folder>/UserData/LOG/HAT
and delete Spa_1988_C4.hat
Now start rFactor and run an offline night race.
HAT files are created the first time you load a track... it's basically a texture cache to speed track loading.
